IT Update

The practice computer system is being upgraded on Thursday 5 August. This will involve a significant software and hardware upgrade.
We have taken care to ensure the smoothest of transitions, however, I would ask for your patience should there be any small "teething" problems (no pun intended).
This upgrade will allow the much anticipated online appointment booking very soon; an announcement will be made here when the facility becomes available.
Business update

This morning I have a couple of interesting meetings with firstly, an architect/design studio to discuss future development of the practice. We have some exciting ideas which I hope to be moving forward with soon, watch this space!
In addition, technology moves on apace, and I am meeting this morning with Kodak, our computer and software developers, to discuss new developments in the IT world, which can bring benefits to the practice and our patients. We have recently introduced text and email reminders, and something I am keen to look at today is the potential for online appointment booking, through our website.
